Spacecow is already in use, so I signed up using my old forum name.

Name for wiki is Maskullking, like MC.

Turns out pman9 was the one who added the leg to the server.

Apparently he's gone so far that he's met an NPC.

I told him to kill himself and return home, and that he shouldn't explore new areas without permission.

Should I still let him be on the server?

No, i see him as a risk after learning that he plotted to grief my server (and he almost did burn down one of the NPC villages)

I did explore just a little East(MC east as I learned about the other day from Rick.) of where all my stuff.

But I needed to as I am attempting to recreate the city/castle Vector from FF3(6).

Is that all kays? lol.

That's fine. What pman9 was doing was walking in one direction for an hour.

I actually explored the red zone and stopped the fire.
there's an NPC village there too.

I think the server would benefit from a plugin such as this:

Cool, how did you stop it? Also, did you use the wiki article?

Frostburrow Central has been "infected" by a type of block that replicates Magic Carpet glass, and disabled VoxelSniper. We had to remove a GIANT glass "monster" by hand. I reccomend we revert to a backup and hope for the best. Also, apparently any blocks that have come into contact with this infection are infected as well.

Ross says to just ignore it and it will go away, but I think that's asinine.

I suppose, but it hasn't spread yet, and there's no evidence to prove it will.

Reverted to Oct 1 anyway. I also have one of Oct 2 after the bombing.

There is evidence towards it though. You were there when I did a test.

I noticed that you couldn't use VoxelSniper on the infected blocks, so I placed a stone block and tried using VS with it, it worked. I then moved infected blocks so that they touched the stone. The infected blocks then infected the stone block and I was unable to affect it with VS. It is my belief that with every updated block, the infection would spread to blocks adjacent from the source block.

We shall cut into the heart of this infestation, retrieve the Icon, and burn any Flood that stand in our way!



Wait wtf how old is the save you reverted to!? All the interior that i made 2 days ago is gone! o.O

We reverted from Oct' 2 to Oct' 1.

I had one from Oct 2, but noticed the glass spreading before I took it, though. (I must have shrugged it off.) If you want I can send you the Oct 2, Sushi. I'm really sorry, too!

I would like the october 2nd one, then i can salvage my base and move it over to a new map on my own server xP

(also did you try just removing the map and reinstalling the same version? it does sometimes do the trick?)

I don't think that would have fixed it. Me and Ross both tried taking data values from the infected blocks, and they returned weird results like "5" from Smooth Stone, which is supposed to be "1".

Intresting, nonetheless I would like a copy of the corrupted map =)
(actually i could try removing the infected blocks in a map editor, which should work, could also repair any damage, heh and make a map (visual map of all underground structures!))

Someone spawned silverfish in the North-Eastern settlement, if you go over there take a diamond sword with you. They have infested the entire compound.
